Final thoughts
This is not the final retail version of the A129 Plus Duo. So it might have some changes in the final retail version from my unit.
The retail version is on sale now on Viofo Official store in Aliexpress.
This A129 Plus sits in-between the A129 Duo and the A129 Pro Duo 4K. I think the A129 Plus will be great for those looking for something more from the A129’s 1080p and doesn’t require 4K recording of the A129 Pro.
The A129 Plus’ rear camera does its own encoding of the recordings. So you cannot use the rear camera from the A129 Duo or the A129 Pro Duo with the A129 Plus as it is a totally different camera.
According to Viofo Official Store in Aliexpress, there will be 2 versions of the A129 Plus Duo – eMMC and non-eMMC version. Not much info is known about the eMMC version but I think it will have built-in 32GB for recordings just incase the micro SD card fails.

If using both front and rear camera, the front camera can record at 1440P 60fps?
