Recently both my Viofo A119 V1 and A119S V1 have been restarting automatically during drives.
Viofo has released A119 V2 and A119S V2 to fix this issue due to the connectors on the GPS mount.
Below are A119 V1 and V2 with the V1 and V2 GPS mounts.

Now, what about those who have bought and using the A119/A119S V1?
That’s why Viofo has released the Viofo V2 GPS Conversion Kit for A119/A119S which a friend had informed me about it and I found it on Amazon selling for US19.99.
Here’s the thing. I’m staying in Malaysia and Amazon doesn’t deliver to Malaysia. What can I do?
Well, I emailed Viofo and Swin from the Sales team replied me that I can place my order through them. Thanks to Swin’s help. I’ve ordered 2 sets of the conversion kit which arrived via DHL in less than 3 days from Viofo in Hong Kong.

V1 to V2 Conversion
The conversion is fairly straight forward and takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.
Open the 4 screws on the cover with the included Phillips screwdriver. Then slowly open the cover as there is ribbon cable attached to the V1 power chip to the board of the A119/A119S.
Open the 2 screws on the metal plate on the cover then slowly pull the metal cover up to reveal the V1 power chip.
Open the 2 screws on the clear plastic cover. On the V1 power chip, gently push the black tab up to release the ribbon cable.
Insert the ribbon cable to the V2 power chip and push down on the black tab to secure the ribbon cable in place.
Now put the V2 power chip into it’s place on the V2 cover. Put back the clear cover in place and fasten back the 2 screws on the clear cover.
Put back the metal cover in place and screw back the 2 screws (forgot to take a photo for this step).
Put the V2 back with the main body. It will snap into place. Secure it with the 4 screws.
V1 to V2 conversion done!
Now to test if the GPS mount can power on the A119/A119S.
I also stuck on the 3M Double Coated Tissue Tape so that will have a nice fit with the GPS mount.
Today there’s no restart on my A119. Now to do the V2 conversion on my Viofo A119S.
Thank you for reading!

Bu değiştirme kitinden almam gerekiyor. Benimde a119 v1 kameramın gps modül yuvası sorunlu ama amazonda ürün satışı artık yok. Üzgünüm bu kite nasıl ulaşabilirim?
