Videos
The videos below are recorded in 1920×1080 30fps with an overall bit rate of 15.4 Mb/s for the front camera and in 1280×720 30fps with an overall bit rate of 6,050 kb/s for the rear camera.

My thoughts
Decent video quality for the front and rear cameras.

The mounting strap for the mirror dashcam is not that secure causing the mirror dashcam to shake when driving on bumpy roads. Wished they used the spring clamps instead.

Like the blue tint on the mirror which reduces the glare from the headlights from the cars behind when driving at night.

I would like to purchase only the rear camera. Where can I buy them? Kindly advise.

Think you’ll need to ask Yi for that

Hi, Thanks for a wonderful review, do you notice that the rear camera recorded video left to right. You are driving on the left of the road but the rear camera recording that you are driving on the right! I have two of this camera & they both have the same problem, may need a firmware rectification. I don’t think the manufacturer realise it at all!

Yeah. Mostly their rear cam is recording in a mirror reflection mode. This will need to get the manufacturer to give us an option to use normal or mirror mode.

Here is Malaysia is right hand drive.

I’ve visited their Official Website and can not find any product support or firmware update for this product. It would be really nice if they can rectify this and make it as an option like you mentioned.
