Issues

There were some issues faced with the rear cam showing white/black screen. The X16 hanged. And the rear cam all a sudden recording upside down.

Trying to contact Chupad and see if there are any firmware updates that might fix these issues faced.

Videos
Recorded in 1920×1080 30fps with an overall bit rate of 12.1 Mb/s for front and rear. Please excuse the rear cam as my rear windscreen was dirty due to the rain for the past week.

Does it support reverse camera (while in reverse gear)?

Nope. Doesn’t have the extra cable to connect to the reverse light to activate it when reversing.

New firmware available for this unit. I got it from them and put a copy online
http://www.mediafire.com/file/j75rzohdgfuuair/Chupad_X16_Firmware.zip
Unzip and put BIN file in root dir of memory card, Plug in DVR, after it reboots and starts REC, stop it, format card and check your settings as they factory default.
Enjoy
